One of Shark Allies’ advocates and attorney, Jordan Snyder, will use his expertise in law to present to the Animal Law Section of the Florida Bar, along with our Executive Director, Stefanie Brendl. The purpose of this presentation webinar is to shed a light on the importance of state legislation, the various functions of international species trade treaties, and the legal obstacles we faced in the recent NoFinFL campaign. One of the biggest take aways from this presentation will be why each shark protection law has its strengths and weaknesses, but are all essential to protect these magnificent animals.
