Annie is a perennial environmental activist who continues to dedicate her personal life to protecting and promoting marine wildlife and the Ocean. She leads the strategic, thoughtful engagement of donors and donor prospects to ensure that the Shark Allies Team has the necessary means to engage in campaigns that will have a meaningful impact on the lives of sharks and their ecosystem. Based in Canada and born with a natural desire to travel and see the world, Annie is currently studying marine biology and biological oceanography at the University of California Los Angeles. This will allow her, and in turn Shark Allies, to better understand the impact of global warming as it pertains to the Ocean and marine life from a scientific perspective. Both Annie and her 2 year-old son Kaelan are proud vegans,and Kaelan plans to take over from his mother when the time is right!
