World's Largest Ocean Floor Cleanup

This past weekend, the dive community of Deerfield Beach and beyond came together to set a Guinness World Record for cleaning the ocean floor - 633 divers!

Aside from trash, the divers recovered roughly 1,600 pounds of lead fishing weights (years of anglers cutting bait). Our team of Florida Shark Allies shared #NoFinFL with the dive and ocean community. We are so thrilled to have met everyone and are feeling so grateful for the support to end the shark fin trade in Florida. Thank you to 4ocean, Stream2Sea, Boca Save our Beaches, NSU Aquatics, Mermaid Cove and everyone else that participated, what a cool day to be a part of!
