DEMA Show, Orlando 11/13-11/16

Shark Allies is excited for year 2 of DEMA! Last year, we exhibited at the Dema Show for the first time in Las Vegas. At that point, we were gearing up to introduce two bills for the first time into the Florida State Legislature to end the shark fin trade there. We met so many influential and passionate divers in the industry, gathering up the support we needed to propel us into the 2020 legislative session. This year has brought us full circle. Just last week, it became official that HB401 by Representative Kristin Jacobs, was filed in Florida, to end the sale trade and possession of shark fins. Right now, we need the support of the dive community first and foremost. Simply put, seeking out sharks in the wild to dive with is an everlasting renewable resource.
